MENSA IN MEXICO: LOGICAL OLYMPICS

This weekend Mensa in Mexico held the award ceremony of theirLogical Olympics. It was held at the Arts Museum of the public university and as part of the program of the awards ceremony attendees were given a guided 'tour' of a famous local painting within the museum.

The Olympics had children participating from four different states: Baja California, Chihuahua, Jalisco and San Luis Potosí.

The children were expected to participate in teams up to three people (as they do in The Netherlands). Part of the program involved schools giving all the kids of each group a set of questions to identify children with higher logical natural skills. They were also sent a FAQ on gifted children.

It was a very succesful event.
