The governing body of Mensa International is the International Board of Directors (IBD), while the Executive Committee (ExComm) manages the day-to-day functioning of Mensa International, as directed by the IBD.

The ExComm includes the International Chairman, Director of Administration, Treasurer, Director of Development, and Director of Smaller National Mensas, along with the chairs (or proxies) of national Mensa organizations with more than 10,000 members (currently American Mensa, British Isles Mensa and Mensa Germany).
